WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL TO BILL HAMER OF PALMER AVENUE GARAGE IN BLACKPOOL, WHO IS KINDLY SPONSORING HOGCAM 1

HogCam 1showing live inside the Hospital Unit where incubators and recovery units house rescued sick and injured hedgehogs receiving care.

We receive many requests from the public wanting to visit the Hospital Unit and see the hedgehogs.  Please realise that we are caring for sick and injured wildlife which needs peace and quiet in order to recover, and therefore we must put the welfare of the animals in our care first and foremost and not allow visits by the public.

HogCams 1 and 2 have been installed to allow the public to view the work we do 24/7 and also follow the progress of individual rescued hedgehogs receiving care.  This system in no way disturbs the hedgehogs which was our primary aim and compensates for our no visitors policy.

At night HogCam 1 will sometimes be focusing on an individual hedgehog receiving care.  The Hospital Unit is in total darkness at night, but you will be able to see via infra red lighting.
