Leaf......
'Leaf' was rescued after being found underneath a few leaves on a pathway in Poulton. In freezing cold weather and weighing just 280gms, how he had survived the recent sub zero weather conditions is a miracle. Keeping him warm on a heat mat and he is eating well. Another night in the cold with just a few leaves for cover and I don't think he would have survived. Will remain here over the winter months then release in the Spring.
Tinsel......
Baby 'Tinsel' arrived on 15th December after she was seen out during the daytime for several days in Cleveleys. She weighs only 160gms and around 5/6 weeks old. How has she survived the recent cold weather? She is at the moment very poorly and is struggling to maintain her body heat. Sadly prognosis not good.
