Bear......

This very large male weighing 1.25kg was brought to me after the finder saw him on their garden cams with what she suspected was ringworm on his nose. I don't think it is ringworm, he has a scab on his nose which has not healed underneath. It looks more like being caused by consistently pushing his nose underneath something. Quite often see this if trying to get underneath a small gap in a fence for example. Scab removed, wound and tips of ears treated. Can be released back into his garden in the next day or so but I suspect the nose problem may persist. We will have to see....
