September 2026

Drizzle......
'Drizzle' arrived at the beginning of September after he was found stuck in a drain and unable to get out. It isn't known how long he had been in there. He's about eight weeks old and is exhibiting signs of severe trauma. He now needs warmth, food and peace and quiet in order to recover from this.

Bumble......
This little chappie was admitted on 15th September after being found in a local woodland park during the daytime. He was just lying in some long grass when a MOP spotted him. On admission he was found to be very underweight, icy cold and dehydrated. He was administered fluid therapy and kept warm in an incubator. Receiving treatment for internal parasites and ringworm.

Spike......
Spike was rescued on Sept 16th from a local works complex after he was seen to be out during the day. I was told that mouse/rat poison had been placed all around the area a few days before, so it was concerning if he had come into contact with any. Luckily it seemed he hadn't and just needed treatment for a bad tummy caused by an overload of internal nasties. I suspect he is one of this year's youngsters. Eating well and gaining weight nicely.
UPDATE: Spike was released back into the wild on Oct 6th weighing just over 500gms.
