Darragh......

Little 'Darragh' arrived during the recent storm after he was spotted trundling down a road in Thornton in the middle of the day.  He's settled in well but weighs only 300gms so will be here a while yet. Is being treated for internal nasties. Left on his own and being so small he would not have survived over winter.

Phil......

Had to 'defrost' this little juvenile who came on the morning of 4th December after being found in a garden in Poulton.  He was so cold he had gone into semi hibernation and was shutting down.  He at last uncurled after being warmed very gently for a few hours in an incubator.  He weighed just under 350gms so would not have survived being so small.  Will remain here over the winter months keeping him warm and well fed, then hopefully can be released in Spring.
