Joe.....

'Joe' was found March 13th at Norcross Cricket Club tangled up in netting.  It's not known how long he had been trapped there.  The finder managed to cut away all the netting but he was left with compression injuries.  He was given replacement fluids and placed on a heat mat as the finder said he had noticed him wobbling - a sign of hypothermia.  Will be here a while whilst the compression injuries are assessed.  Had a word with the finder to make sure the netting is taken up after use to avoid this happening again.

UPDATE: Joe made a complete recovery and was released back into the wild two weeks later.

Roy......

Remember 'Roy'?  What a difference - look at the little fatty now!  He now weighs 900gms!  I had him out on the lawn this morning for a bit of much needed exercise and a wander.  Just waiting for a bit of decent night time temps and then he can go for release.

UPDATE: Roy has now been released into a safe release garden in Thornton.
