Zoe......
'Zoe' was rescued after she was seen out during the daytime by a passing motorist in Out Rawcliffe. She was just lying by the side of the road, not moving. She's around 7/8 weeks old so just independent. Flies had been on her and laid their eggs, so after they were removed she was placed on a heat mat to get her warm. She was also given warmed sub cut fluids to get fluids on board and to help raise her body temp. Now her condition has much improved and she is eating well, but at only 180gms she will be here a while.
Nigel......
'Nigel' was rescued on 23rd October from the Thornton area. Underweight for the time of the year at only 283gms. Will need screening for parasites and feeding up to get some weight on him.
UPDATE: Nigel is doing well and gaining weight nicely.
Spooky......
'Spooky' was picked up on 31st October near Stanah Horse Feeds by a couple who realised something was wrong for him to be active during the daytime. Just as well they did as he has a horrendously bad tummy. Treatment commenced and today his condition has improved significantly.
