Liam......

Baby 'Liam' rescued during the daytime from a nearby road four weeks ago weighing 150gms.  He needed treatment for several types of internal parasites and now his condition has really improved.  He has a good appetite and now weighs nearly 500gms so will be going for release soon.

Loopy......

This is 'Loopy' found out during the daytime in a local garden, not a good sign.  He had a really bad tummy with severe diarrhoea and dehydration.  For the first 24 hours I didn't think he would make it but after drip fluids, antibiotics and appropriate wormers he is now on the  mend.  Quite a little character this one.

'Loopy' has now been released back to the garden where he was found and has been seen at night on the cameras there.

Rambo......

'Rambo' rescued 28th August from a local release garden with a severely infected facial injury which looked particularly bad on admission.  Cleaned up, given antibiotics and this morning looks a whole lot better now.  Eating well so should make a full recovery, but will probably be left with quite a scar.

Maggie......

'Maggie' was rescued by a concerned couple from South Shore after she was seen in their garden being attacked by magpies.  They were on her back pecking away at her.  After checking her over there doesn't seem to be any long term damage but she is quite thin and underweight with an underlying parasite problem.  Eating well so should make a full recovery and then she can eventually be returned to her garden where she was a regular visitor.

Update: Maggie has now been released into a safe area, as the finders decided they did not want her back in their garden.
