Elvis......

Elvis was found alone in a back garden during the daytime in Elvaston Road in Carleton.  He weighed 130gms and apart from an infected wound on his back he was a very hungry baby.  His wound was cleaned and treated and once his weight was over 400gms he was released into a safe release garden in Cleveleys.

Dot 'n Dave......

These two babies were rescued from a garden in the Norbreck area after they were found wandering around during the daytime.  They were approximately four weeks old.  Once over the 250gm mark they were transferred into a secure garden to gain outside experience prior to them being released. They are currently still there and doing well.

Netting babies......

Three babies were found tangled up in netting that covered a pond in a garden in Fleetwood.  It isn't known how long they had been entangled as one baby was sadly already dead.  The finder had already cut off most of the netting.  The remainder was removed but both babies had constriction injuries and the condition of one baby was a cause for concern.

Update:  both babies now doing well and will be fit for release towards the end of August.

Twiggy......

The little female was found trapped inside a garage on Fleetwood Road North.  It looked like she had been trapped for some time as all her claws were worn away after she had been trying to escape.  As expected she is quite thin and also dehydrated. Hopefully no long term damage done, and can be released once we get her weight back up again.
